BlackRock Spot Bitcoin ETF Inflows Surpass $20B Milestone

Cumulative net creations in the largest US spot bitcoin product crossed a threshold that took gold ETFs several years to reach.

Cumulative net inflows into the largest US spot bitcoin exchange-traded fund passed $20 billion this week, according to daily creation and redemption data published by the issuer.

The pace of accumulation has been uneven. Roughly a third of the total arrived in two concentrated windows following quarterly rebalancing by model portfolio providers, a pattern that fund analysts say reflects allocation decisions made at the platform level rather than retail demand.

Competing products have seen slower but steadier creation. Fee compression across the category has narrowed the spread between the cheapest and most expensive US listings to under fifteen basis points.

Flow data is reported with a one-day lag and is subject to revision.
